I Henry HUNTER, of Jessamine County and state of Ky. being weak in bodybut
of perfect mind and memory thanks to God, therefore knowing that it is
appointed for all men once to die, So make and ordain this my last Willand
Testament that is to say first of all I give and recommend my soul untothe
hand of God that gave it, and as to my body I recommend it to a decent
Christian burial at the discretion of my Executors, hoping that I shall
receive the same at resurrection by the Almightly power of God, and as to
such worldly estates where with it has pleased God to bless me with inthis
life. I devise and dispose of in the following manner and form: in thefirst
place it is my will that all my just debts which are but few and smallshall
be paid and satisfied. I give unto my well beloved wife Sarah HUNTER, one
bay horse, five years old next spring, also my stock of cattle, sheep, and
hogs and their increases and all my farming tools, and also all myhousehold
and kitchen furniture, during her natural life or widowhood. I give untomy
two sons by my present wife Sarah HUNTER two colts. To wit to my sonNathan
HUNTER, I give one sorrel colt with a small star to him and his heirs
forever. I give to my son Henry HUNTER one sorrel mare colt a blazed faceto
him and his heirs forever. It is my will that the rest of my horses besold
by my Executors, and the money coming from them be loaned until my twosons
Nathan HUNTER and Henry HUNTER shall come of age, and when they become of
age, the money loaded out on interest to be divided between them. I also
desire that my wife shall give my two sons Nathan HUNTER and Henry HUNTERas
much schooling as possible. It is my will and desire that neigher of my
three children by my first wife, William HUNTER, Charles HUNTER, and Peggy
BARTLET shall not have any part of my present small estate. My reason forit
is that I have given each of them more than my present small estate amount
to which I have willed to my two sons by my present wife, Nathan HUNTERand
Henry HUNTER, and lastly I appoint my beloved and trusty friend Samuel
HUNTER my sole executor of this my last Will and Testament in witnesses
whereof. I have here set my hand and seal this 15th day of Oct. in theyear
1810.
