"Mrs Sallie Cobb, widow of the late John W Cobb, diedlast Sunday of flux, aged--. She had been sick only a few days but hadsuffered from bowel trouble for more than a year, and at her advancedage, the disease coming upon her in its most formidable type, she couldnot withstand its attack. She died at the residence of A A Burton, whereshe was taken sick while on a visit. The funeral was preached by the RevVaughn to a large
concourse of people at the late residence, when she was buried by theside of her husband."
