Mrs. Anna Moberly, widow of the late Richard Moberly, who preceded her to the Great Beyond about 17 years ago, died at her home at Kirksville, and was laid to rest Tuesday morning with services at the Gilead Baptist Chrch. She had been a faithful member of this congregation for many years. Three children survive. Mrs. Moberly was beloved by all who knew her.
(Obit of Ann Eliza, wife of Stephen B. and daughter of Drucilla and James W. All the dates match. Ann died 4 Nov 1923 and Stephen B. died on 6 Aug 1906 preceding her to the "Great Beyond" 17 years earlier).

DEATH TAKES AGED WOMAN Mrs. Cynthia Land Farris Succumbs at the Good Samaritan Hospital. FUNERAL SUNDAY Mrs. Cynthia Land Farris, 89, of Madison County died at 9:45 last night at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington after a short illness. She is survived by THREE DAUGHTERS, Mrs. A. M. Davison, Richmond; Mrs. Nicholas Bohn, Paris; Mrs. Roy E. Anderson, Lexington; THREE SONS, William R. Farris, St. Mathews; H. Bennett Farris, Richmond; Owsley M. Farris, Richmond; ONE SISTER, Mrs. Dan Burchell, Paint Lick; and two STEP-DAUGHTERS, Mrs. Emma Farris, Crab Orchard; and Mrs. Katherine E. Middleton, Half Moon Bay, Calif. The body has been taken to the Oldham, Roberts, Powell and Duncan funeral home here. It will be taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. M. Davison on Lancaster Ave. until the funeral. Services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Richmond Cemetery with the Rev. Frank N. Tinder officiating, assisted by the Rev. Hayes Farrish of Lexington. Pallbearers will be Fred Davison, Harry A. Turner, Charles H. Gibson, William Farris, Maynard Farris and William T. Baldwin. _________________________________________________
