Nov. 13, 1941 Mrs. Betty Land Burchell, wife of Dan Burchell, of Paint Lick, died at her home after an illness o several years. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Miss Emma Burchell of Paint Lick and Mrs. Arthur Botner of Ravenna; one son, Clarence Burchell of Fort Scott, Kansas; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The body was brought to the Oldham, Roberts and Powell funeral home. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Parents: James W. LAND and Drusilla SANDERS. Miss Bettie Land 52 years old, died at her home at Edenton Friday morning at 5:20 o'clock from a lung infectin. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary J. Land, a brother, Shirley Land and a half-brother,
Owen Land, all of Madison county and a sister, Mrs. Ira Masters of Nicholasville. Funeral services were held this morning at 11 o'clock at te Salem church. Interment was in the cemetery there. Parents: Samuel Bronson LAND and Mary Jane LNU. Parents: Samuel Bronson LAND and Mary Jane AGEE.
