Mildred Ann Stinnett Smith, 73, the widow of Virgil L. Smith of FourthStreet in Nicholasville, died Dec. 30 after a brief illness.

She was the daughter of the late Milton Mann and Elva Mae CallicoStinnett.

Additional survivors are four children and their spouses, Ronald andDebbie Smith of Nicholasville, Madeline and Lewis Shelton ofNicholasville, Virginia and Louis Sparks of Willisburg and Mary and MikeWalker of Nicholasville; one brother, Lee Dale Stinnett of Nicholasville;eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at Betts & WestFuneral Home with the Rev. Greg Porterfield officiating. Burial followedat Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Bearers were Jason Smith, Jeremy and Dustin Adams, Mike Walker, EricShelton and Mike Neu. Honorary bearers were Milton Bennis and ArnoldStinnett. Parents: Milton Mann , Jr. STINNETT and Elva CALICO.
