She was a member of the Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church, EasternStar No. 110 and a retired GTE employee.
Survivors include a brother, Obra D. Willis; two sisters, Everie Willisand Dorene Peterson and her husband, Willis, of
Lexington; three nieces, Sue Royse and her husband, Pete, ofNicholasville, Donna Williams and her husband, Richard of
Lexington; and Jill Peterson of Lexington; and five nephews, GregoryPeterson and his wife, Carrie, of Lexington; Mark
and David Royse of Nicholasville; Jonathan Williams of Lexington; andNoah Peterson of Lexington.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, Newlan andDouglas Willis and Allene Willis.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Betts and West FuneralHome in Nicholasville with the Rev. Hugh
Delaney officiating. Burial followed at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Active bearers were Pete Royse, Richard Williams, Mark Royse, GregoryPeterson, David Royse and Jonathan Williams.
