Stafford Family Collection
Jessamine County Historical Society has received a large family history collection containing genealogical information on the following families: Anderson, Campbell, McClanahan, Caldwell, Cassell (a large amount), Daniel (a large amount), Newman (a large amount), and Stuart. The society does not have the staff necessary to research this material but it is available to anyone who makes a trip to Nicholasville and takes advantage of the research opportunities of the Society's holdings. The Society is open every Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and by appointment for out of town visitors.
What's Happening With the Cemeteries
The cemetery committee is currently working on the Campbell/Wilmore cemetery which is located in Wilmore and the Gregg/McCampbell cemetery which is located on Union Mill Road. The committee is asking for any information about either of these cemeteries.... if you know of any of the people buried in either of these cemeteries please mail your information to Jessamine County Historical Society, 216 North Main Street, Farmers Square, Nicholasville, Ky 40356.
